Shipping policy
DELIVERY INFORMATION
Delivery is currently only available to customers residing in the United Kingdom.
Our dedicated service provider is Royal Mail for more than 95% of our products. For those orders which are too large to be sent via this method we use a reputable courier service.
All orders are sent 2nd Class as standard. This can be upgraded to a 'Next Day' Service for £4.99.
For orders totalling £49.99 and below, the delivery charge is £2.99.
For orders totalling £50.00 or more, the delivery charge is £0.00 or in other words FREE!
- Orders placed before 15:00 on a working day (Monday to Friday) are sent on the same day.
- Orders placed after 15:00 on a working day (Monday to Friday) are sent the following working day.
- Orders placed between 15:00 on a Friday and 23:59 on a Sunday will be sent the following Monday.
Royal Mail's 1st Class service is usually a next day service but they advertise it as up to 3 working days. Royal Mail 2nd Class is a 2-4 day Service.
If you have not received your order after 4 working days, please get in touch using our contact page or email info@ultrajars.co.uk putting WHERE IS MY ORDER (*INCLUDING ORDER NUMBER*) as the subject. We will investigate and get back to you shortly after.
IMPORTANT UPDATE ON DISPATCH TIMES
We always aim to dispatch packages of any size same day provided that your order is placed before 1500. Occasionally, due to unforeseen stock or staff shortages this isn’t always possible. If your order isn’t dispatched the same day as it was placed, it will likely be sent the next working day. We will always attempt to make contact to inform you of any updates/delays to your shipment.
DAMAGES & ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
CUSTOMS INFORMATION
When ordering goods from ultrajars.co.uk for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes. Good news though – these are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance however must be borne by you. We’re sorry, but we have no control over these and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so try giving your local customs office a call for further information. Also, please note that when ordering from Ultra Jars, you are considered the importer of record (owner/purchaser of goods) and therefore must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally, to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Also, we may communicate information such as order, delivery and product details to our international carriers and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities. This is to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
If your order is a gift for a lucky someone, the package is marked “Gift”. As with all companies, customs authorities require us to state the cost of the gift item directly on the customs form.
